Overview:

At Bridges Day Nursery, our vision is to provide high-quality, safe, and nurturing early years care where children are supported to grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Nursery Cleaner to help keep our nursery clean, tidy, and welcoming for children, families, and staff.

​

This is a part-time position, typically working around 4–6 hours per week across 2 or 3 evenings. The role would suit someone looking for flexible additional income, including parents, semi-retired individuals, or those with previous cleaning experience.

No childcare qualifications are required.

​

Key Duties:​

• Vacuuming and mopping nursery floors

• Cleaning toilets and handwashing areas

• Wiping and sanitising touch points

• Light cleaning staff area

• Ensuring the nursery is left clean and tidy ready for the next day

• Reporting any maintenance issues to management

Responsibilities:​

• Complete cleaning tasks to a good standard

• Follow health and safety guidance

• Use cleaning products safely

• Be reliable and punctual

• Maintain confidentiality when working within the nursery

• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential​

A driver is preferred due to our rural location, although we are within walking distance of Headcorn train station.
